Pink Touch

Monday's outfit...

The weather was perfect. And instead of me sporting all basic colors, I wanted to add a touch of color to brighten things up a bit.

I'm loving these heels I purchased from Charlotte Russe for only $10. They feel like there's some sort of cushion on the bottom. I literally wore these all day; even after work while I was with my daughter.

Now I wish I would have purchased the blue pair.

Anyway, I'm tired. I had a long and busy day. Time for sleepy...

SPECIAL POST: Happy 18th!

18 years ago today, I had given birth to the most beautiful (8 lb 5 oz) baby girl. I remember going to my doctor's office and telling her that this baby needs to come out NOW! My doctor was like ok...it is time & that she will meet me at the hospital.

My mom had driven me to the hospital in a freakin' blizzard! It was cold...snowing and just a really dangerous day overall.

But after15 hours of labor pains, she was born!

I feel blessed to have had such an amazing young woman; who's intelligent, sweet, and lovable. I'm very proud of her. She's a special individual and I love the person she's become thus far.

Asiah you are definitely my one true treasure...
